教育局宣佈由十一月二十三日起暫停小一至小三面授課堂，我們明白停課的原因，可惜初小的同學又失去每天回校與老師、同學的互動機會。自復課後，老師們覺得同學比以前更珍惜上課的時間。在停課的前一天，當小一至小三同學放學碰見我時，也向我表示很想回校上課。校長知道你們懂事，忍耐一會兒吧！我會在學校等候大家。 | |||||||||||||
The Education Bureau announced the suspension of face-to-face lessons for P.1-P.3 from 23rd November onwards. We understand the reason for class suspension; however, it’s a pity our students lose the opportunity to interact daily with teachers and classmates at school again. Since class resumption, our teachers felt that our students cherish lesson time more than before. When P.1 to P.3 students saw me during home time on the day before class suspension, they told me they really want to go to school. I know you are all good students. Just hold on for a while longer! I will wait for you all at school. | |||||||||||||
今年因疫情關係，很多校外比賽都延期或取消，而我們今年榮獲由公益金主辦之「環保為公益」的亞軍及由復和綜合服務中心主辦之「積極推動和諧校園」的銀獎，衷心多謝老師為學生的努力及付出，令「劉德容」的學生可以在「愛」的地方茁壯成長。另外，在第二十五屆表揚教師計劃中，伍蝶珊老師及林詠如老師榮獲表揚狀，表揚兩位老師熱心教學，表現卓越。 | |||||||||||||
This year, due to the coronavirus, various external competitions are postponed or cancelled. Meanwhile, our school has been awarded Second in the “Greening for the Chest” by The Community Chest, and the Silver Medal in the “Actively Promote a Harmonious School” by the Centre for Restoration of Human Relationships. A big thank you to our teachers for their diligence and dedication for our students, allowing students of LTY to flourish and bloom in a place full of love. In addition, in the 25th Teacher Commendation Scheme, Miss Ng Dip Shan and Miss Lam Wing Yu have been commended! They have been commended for their enthusiasm in education and their professional excellence.

「劉德容」的老師既有愛心又上進，學校安排多個工作坊提升教師的專業水平。校監在十一月四日為常識科老師舉行工作坊，令大家獲益良多；在十一月二十五日舉行「自主學習工作坊」和「專題研習工作坊」；在十一月二十七日為新老師舉行了「戲劇教育工作坊」，舉辦以上工作坊的目的是希望老師能掌握學校發展的重點，讓學生能從活動中學習，並懂得運用不同的學習方法，培養學生終生學習的能力。 | |||||||||||||
The teachers of LTY are caring and enterprising. Our school has arranged multiple workshops to enhance our teachers’ professional standard. Our School Supervisor held a workshop for General Studies teachers on 4th November. We all learnt a lot and benefited a great deal! On 25th November, we had a Self-Directed Learning Workshop and a Project-Based Learning Workshop. On 27th November, we held a Drama in Education Workshop for new teachers. The aim of the above workshops is to enable teachers to grasp the development direction of our school, hence letting our students learn through activities, and know how to apply different pedagogies to cultivate students’ lifelong learning abilities. | |||||||||||||
我們在今個月已安排學生接種疫苗，也安排了工友在小息時間清潔課室，確保師生們都能健健康康地在學校生活，正所謂「預防勝於治療」。大家也要多加強個人衛生意識，希望疫情盡快緩和，大家能在校園相見！ | |||||||||||||
We scheduled for our students to receive vaccinations this month and arranged school helpers to clean classrooms during recess to ensure teachers and students can spend time at school healthily. We believe that prevention is the best cure! Let’s all increase our personal hygiene awareness. Hope the epidemic is alleviated very soon. See you all at school! | |||||||||||||
